Raseborg is located halfway between Helsinki and Turku, on the main axis of Finland's history and culture. There are six stars in Raseborg: Fiskars and Billnäs villages, Raseborg Castle Ruins, Svartå Manor, the unique archipelago with its National Park, and Ekenäs, the picturesque town nestled to the ocean.

If you look at maps of Finland from the Middle Ages you will find Tenala and Snappertuna which belong to present-day Raseborg. The area surrounding Raseborg castle was a bustling medieval trading centre, that has been inhabited since the 1400s.

If you are interested in locally produced food and organic farms you will find many examples in our municipality. Here you can taste cheese from Tenala, beer from Fiskars, and goods from many small producers of delicasies, as well as fresh fish, vegetables, and eggs from nearby farms.

Those who yearn for tranquility and beauty can forget the stresses of modern life in the sculpture park at Svartå Manor,  and can spend the night in a room close to the wooden manor house. You can also find serenity in an island cottage by the sea.

In coastal Ekenäs you can be beguiled by the small town charm when strolling along the narrow streets of the Old town, and maybe spend the night in a cosy house.

If you seek more action, there is a wide range of culture, exhibitions, crafts and events in Fiskars Village all year round.
