Castles & Historical iron works

Raseborg is located on the main axis of Finnish history and culture. Our most famous gems are the former iron work villages in Fiskars and Billnäs, the Raseborg medieval castle ruins and the stately Svartå Castle. Award-winning, scenic Fiskars Village offers culture, high-quality exhibitions, arts and crafts, activities and events throughout the year. Raseborg Castle has been a lively trading place already in the 15th century, today the castle grounds offers activities, guided tours and a summer theater. The carefully restored Svartå Castle with its beautiful park is one of Raseborg's most popular places for weddings, and for a good reason. There is also an award-winning restaurant in Svartå, that serves locally produced, high-quality food. In cosy Billnäs village you should visit the Building Pharmacy, which specializes in renovating old houses. In addition, you can arrange a meeting or party in the modern, comfortable conference center of Billnäs, right next to the historical Svartå river.
