Churches

There are several beautiful churches from the Middle Ages in Raseborg. They are worth visiting already for their long and interesting history, but also for the various events and concerts held especially during summertime.

St. Cathrine’s Church

The medieval church dates back to 1470 and is one of Raseborg’s foremost historical landmarks.

Ekenäs Church

Built in the 1680s on the initiative of Gustaf Adolf Leijonhufvud.

St. Mary’s Church

Greystone church of Pojo built in the 1400s.

Snappertuna Church

The oldest cruciform church in the area that was built in 1689.

Tenala Church

This greystone church dates from as early as the 13th century.

Bromarv Church

The youngest church in the community, built in the 1980s.

Svartå Church

The wooden church in Svartå was built and consecrated in the 1760s.
