Paddling is one of the best ways to experience the archipelago! In Raseborg you can do a paddling trip in Ekenäs Archipelago National Park, as well as in our beautiful lakes and rivers. Some companies even offer guided paddling trips, with destinations such as Jussarö island in Ekenäs archipelago.
Enjoy beautiful views out at sea, on one of our numerous lakes or on the Svartån river, that runs through Karis and the villages of Svartå, and Billnäs. By paddling you’ll reach places that are inaccessible by foot. In Raseborg you can rent a kayak from for example Raseborg’s Castle Ruins, where you get to enjoy the lush Raseborgs ån river. In Ekenäs you can rent kayaks from Paddlingsfabriken or Wågen. Billnäs is the newest addition to our paddling opportunities, offering an unique experience in the lush scenery of the Svartån river, as well as the beautiful landscape of the old ironworks village. Paddlingsfabriken and Billnäs also offer guided paddling trips.
Stand-up paddling, or SUP as it is more commonly known, is a fantastic means of exercising on water! You can rent a SUP board and take lessons in Svartå or Stallet Bar and Terrace or Motel Marine, both in Ekenäs.
