This memorial was sculpted by Matti Haupt in the 1950s. Next to the fountain grows an oak, which was planted by the 3rd Finnish-Swedish Peace Conference on May 6th 1984. Near the park is Ystadsgården, a house built in 1949. It is named after Ystad, Ekenäs’ twin town in Sweden.
