In memory of the 1905 Great Strike. People protested the Russian Emperor’s autocracy.
This flame-shaped sculpture by Martti Peitso was unveiled on November 5th 1966 in Skepparträdgården Park in memory of The Great Strike of 1905, when the town citizens demonstrated against the monarchy of the Russian Tsar at The Freedom Well.
Located on Ladugårdsgatan in Ekenäs.
