The sculpture was made by sculptor Gunnar Elfgren in 1952.
The sculpture is situated in front of Karis old town hall and have been there since 1960. The figure was made by sculptor Gunnar Elfgren in 1952. Thanks to entrepreneurs and other volunteers of Karis, the Eurydike sculpture was repaired and filled with water again in May 2018.
