Playgrounds

Visit amazingly fun playgrounds in Raseborg. Lejonparken, “The Lion Park” in Ekenäs is a beloved playground right next to the harbour and Stallörsparken. 

Fiskars playground is located right by the market square. Here kids can live out their sailor fantasies on the ship-shaped jungle gym.  

In Karis’ beautiful nature area Pumpviken you will find an adventure track, with different obstacle courses and activities, plus a mountable cableway that is 20 meters long!

A Day Outdoors 

Raseborg with its beautiful forests and hiking trails is perfect for families. The Enchanted Forest trail in Västerby is 5,5km long and is full of blueberries to pick. You can also grill your lunch by the grill site, or take a dip in the lake. In the archipelago you can find Öuddens fairytale path, where magical beings hide.

If you are moving with a pram, Ramsholmen is the perfect location for an accessible walk. In this beautiful park area, located near the heart of Ekenäs, you can spy on birds, spot unique trees and maybe go for a swim at the beach.   

In Fiskars you can find many shorter trails, and in Karis you can’t miss Pumpviken for a beautiful walk!

Events for all ages

The Old Water Tower in Ekenäs

Climbing the 164 steps of the old water tower is not for the faint of heart! The brave are rewarded with a 360-degree beautiful view over Ekenäs. Pick up the keys from the art museum Chappe, Gustav Wasas gata 11.

Beaches and pools

Raseborg is a paradise for keen swimmers with its countless beaches and indoor pool in Ekenäs. With a bit of luck, you might have the whole beach to yourself. You can play volleyball at Knipans beach in Ekenäs. The indoor public pool also has an exciting water slide!

Discover the mysterious beach at The Dagmar Park, where freshwater flows from the spring. Or visit the idyllic beach in Padva a little further away in Bromarv – the water there is unbelievably clear, and the shallow beach is perfect for smaller kids.  

Most beaches have a changing cabin, outdoor toilet, and a jetty or a life buoy. Find all the city’s managed beaches here

More fun!

A must-see in Raseborg are the spectacular Raseborg castle ruins! Pack a picnic and go enjoy the historical scenery in Snappertuna. In Ekenäs and in Karis you can find charming old cinemas Bio Forum and Bio Pallas, where you can watch a movie and enjoy snacks. At Billnäs gård in the summer you have the chance to meet donkeys and eat delicious sweet or savoury waffles. And why not visit the bowling alley in Ekenäs, or try out an Escape room? Regardless of preferences, there is much to discover in Raseborg!
