The Dark Weekend 2026

The Dark Weekend is back for the eighth time this year. Dive into November with spooky, cosy and uplifting experiences, and see some of our charming and historic places in a whole new light.

Raseborg and Hanko’s joint celebration of the embracing darkness, The Dark Weekend – Experiences in a New Light, takes place on 23–25 October 2026. Say goodbye to October with spooky, cosy and uplifting experiences, and see some of our most charming and historic places in a whole new light.

Even after the official dates, the magical atmosphere lingers on. In several places, especially in Fiskars, lights, decorations and atmospheric experiences continue to brighten up the darkness long afterwards.

Raseborg, Hanko, as well as local associations, organisations, businesses and other event organisers all take part in The Dark Weekend.

Friday October 23

• The Great Pumpkin Hunt in Ekenäs Old Town, 17:00–20:00. Start from Basatorget.
• Guided Ghost Tours at Svartå Manor (in Finnish).
• Halloween Menu at Slottskrogen Restaurant in Svartå.
• Kekri at Hammarbacken, Fiskars museum.
• The Old Mill in Fiskars — Tokens of the Water.

Saturday October 24

• Open House at Villa Skeppet in Ekenäs, 11:00–15:00.
• Harvest Festival Brunch at Veitsitehdas in Fiskars, 12:00–15:30.
• Candlelit Dinner – Light in the Darkness at Ateljé von Swetlik, 17:00–19:30.
• Lizzie – The Musical, 19:00–21:00.
• The nature trail is transformed into the Dark Weekend at the Charcoal Forest, Malmbacka, 15:00–20:00.
• Dark Weekends at Kuparipaja Restaurant in Fiskars.
