The proximity to the sea gives holiday makers in Raseborg plenty of additional ways of relaxing in a fresh natural setting. Here you can take a dip in the sea beyond the arms of a distant reef where the waves thunder into a rocky beach, or enjoy a swim in the secluded waters of the inner archipelago.
Raseborg’s islands can be explored in many ways. Kayaking is very popular nowadays, and many people come long distances by canoe for the purpose of exploring the beautiful labyrinths of the archipelago. Others prefer a faster pace, and move from one harbour to another by sail or motor boat. And even the boat-less do not need to stay on land: charter boats and cruise ships with regular timetables offer their services, so everybody can have the experience of sea air on their face.
