Fall in love with the archipelago - all times of the year!

Our labyrinthine archipelago, with its bays and sandy beaches, spans 1,300 charming islands. With its glittering seascapes and distant horizons, it is one of Finland’s most beautiful marine areas. Here, you can simply relax in the perfect solitude of nature or spend your time fishing, swimming, taking sauna or canoeing, among other activities. The archipelago never ceases to surprise and you will find new adventures over and over again. Have you, for example, ever been on a hovercraft tour? A trip to the wintery archipelago landscapes, is an experience completely different from anything else. A ski tour on the ice with the coffee thermos and sandwiches packed in the backpack, is something everyone should experience at some point of their lives. The appearance of the archipelago changes from season to season, and always offers you something new.

Stay in a log cabin or boat, camp out in a tent or select bed and breakfast! Enquire about various options at the Tourist office. Read more about activities in the archipelago here.
